We're seeking a dedicated and dynamic Medical Device Team Lead to join our Warehouse at BioScript Solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with leadership experience and a commitment to accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your Mission

  • Lead daily labour planning and task delegation to ensure efficient workflow across receiving, inventory processing, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations for medical devices and healthcare products, ensuring all activities align with SOPs, GMP requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Coach, mentor, and support warehouse team members by providing ongoing guidance, performance feedback, and training to build a high-performing operational team.
  • Manage the onboarding and training of new employees to ensure full compliance with operational procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Oversee incoming shipment verification, including quantity counts, lot numbers, expiry dates, SKU accuracy, damage inspection, and quality compliance checks.
  • Receive and process inventory accurately within Business Central or other ERP/Warehouse Management Systems, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
  • Coordinate and verify outbound customer shipments to ensure product accuracy, correct documentation, proper labelling, and adherence to delivery timelines.
  • Ensure temperature-sensitive and time-sensitive products are handled, packed, stored, and shipped in accordance with applicable SOPs, GMP requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Warehouse, QA, Procurement, Customer Service) and external partners (carriers, suppliers, clinics) to resolve operational, inventory, shipping, and quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Support inventory control activities including cycle counts, stock investigations, inventory reconciliation, and ongoing maintenance of inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor and respond to operational emails, customer inquiries, and urgent requests, escalating issues to the Medical Device Supervisor as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and complete operational records and documentation related to inventory, receiving, shipping, and quality processes.
  • Drive adherence to housekeeping and safety procedures to promote a safe, clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and service levels.
  • Serve as backup operational support to the Medical Device Supervisor when required.

Requirements

Education:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement certification is considered an asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device environment is required.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is required.
  • Prior experience in a team lead, supervisory support, or people coordination capacity in a fast-paced operational setting is strongly preferred.
  • Experience handling temperature-sensitive products and regulated inventory is considered an asset.

Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of GMP requirements, SOPs, and regulated warehouse operational standards.
  • Proficiency in Business Central or similar ERP/Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team coordination skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse quality processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational activities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail with a consistent focus on quality, compliance, and inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of KPI tracking, reporting, and operational performance metrics is considered an asset.
  • Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. For positions based in Quebec, French language proficiency is required to perform day-to-day duties.
