Position Summary
The Billing Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoices, analyzing billing data, resolving discrepancies, and supporting revenue processes. This role works closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure billing accuracy and improve efficiency in the order-to-cash cycle. This position is a 6-month term opportunity with the potential to extend or transition into a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Help compile billing documentation, time tickets, expense reports, and supporting materials required for accurate client invoicing.
- Process timely invoices in the Business Central ERP system that accurately reflect contracts, payment terms, billing rates and client requirements.
- Investigate and resolve billing variances or errors.
- Support accurate project opening in ERP system, verifying documentation for data entry into system.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, generate unique document numbers for various deliverables.
- Provide support to Operations, management, and field staff as needed.
- Follow all safety and quality processes including hazard identification and ISO 9001:2015 guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in billing and accounts receivable.
- Experience with Business Central or similar ERP system is highly preferred.
