Delivery HeroCompany Description

Your Mission
As the Finance Master Data Lead at Glovo, you will be the primary architect of our global Finance Master Data Governance framework. Your mission is to ensure that the data powering our financial engine—from partner contracts to tax IDs and chart of accounts—is accurate, standardized, and perfectly mapped across our complex technical landscape (Marketplace, O2C systems, Business Central, and SAP).
You will move beyond simple data maintenance to establish end-to-end (e2e) control, mapping how finance master data flows between systems and understanding its direct impact on Glovo's EBITDA and Free Cash Flow. You will be responsible for embedding quality and controls directly into our processes to ensure we are always "Audit-Ready."
The Journey
- Governance & Strategy: Create and enforce the Finance Master Data Governance rules and policies for Glovo globally. Define ownership, accountability, and standardization standards for key objects.
- End-to-End Mapping: Maintain a comprehensive mapping (operational, data, and technical) of how finance master data flows across all systems—from initial partner onboarding to final posting in the ERPs.
- Financial Impact Analysis: Deeply understand and document how master data configurations (e.g., Tax IDs, GL accounts, Cost Centers) impact financial reporting, tax compliance, and revenue recognition.
- Process Controls & Quality: Design and implement embedded controls and automated quality checks within data entry, migration, and maintenance workflows to reduce manual errors and duplicates.
- Data Quality Management: Lead large-scale data cleansing and standardization initiatives. Establish and monitor KPIs for Master Data accuracy and Touchless Transaction Rates (TTR).
- Audit & Compliance: Ensure all master data processes meet internal and external audit requirements. Support statutory reporting needs across 20+ markets by ensuring accurate localization of financial data.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years of applicable experience in Master Data Management or Finance Systems within a multinational, fast-paced environment (Consulting or High-Growth Tech preferred).
- Financial Domain Knowledge: Strong background in Finance and Accounting (GAAP/IFRS). You must understand how a change in a master data field translates into a journal entry.
- ERP Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, MS Dynamics Business Central, etc), workflows, data flows, and system dependencies.
- Governance Expertise: Experience designing and rolling out an enterprise-wide data governance framework.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Language: English advanced/proficient level.
