The Role
We are seeking an HR Generalist on a temporary contract (maternity cover) to provide operational and administrative support to the HR area. The role will focus primarily on the talent attraction cycle, ensuring agile candidate management, database maintenance and support in screening to guarantee that processes advance according to established timelines.
Areas of Responsibility
- Act as a bridge between the business units and Group areas with the rest of the HR team to resolve issues and address needs.
- Advise business units and Group areas on people management matters, in collaboration with the HR team.
- Stay updated on personnel needs across business units and Group areas, including permanent staff, temporary workers and interns, and ensure their agile coverage.
- Publish vacancies on different job portals, social networks and Group internal channels.
- Screen received applications, applying technical and competency filters defined by managers.
- Manage interview schedules, coordinating convocations between candidates and business or Group area managers.
- Conduct telephone interviews or initial contrast interviews to verify basic requirements and candidate availability.
- Provide support in ETT (temporary employment agencies) and internship management, assisting in temporary personnel requests and monitoring agreements with universities or training centres.
- Keep the ATS and talent databases updated, ensuring all candidate information is accurate and organised.
- Collaborate in Onboarding processes, preparing welcome documentation and supporting the logistics of new employee incorporations.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team on people management and internal communication tasks when necessary.
- Apply environmental criteria and procedures defined by the organisation, prioritising digital document management and efficient use of office resources.
Professional Profile
Minimum qualification required:
- Degree in Social Sciences (Psychology, Labour Relations, Business Administration or similar). Valuable to be studying or have recently completed postgraduate training in HR.
Previous experience:
- Previous experience (even through internships) performing support tasks in recruitment departments or HR service companies (ETT/Consulting) is valued.
Specific knowledge:
- Regular user of job portals (LinkedIn, Infojobs) and fluent handling of Microsoft Office suite.
Valuable:
- Knowledge of digital management tools (ATS) and basic ERP notions (Business Central).
Key competencies:
- Learning capacity, organisation, communication skills, attention to detail and teamwork.
Language:
- Professional English competence (minimum B2), able to understand documentation and maintain basic screening conversations.
