Solutions Architect - Manager

About the Role

Evaluate, design, implement, and optimize solutions built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain platform to bridge the gap between complex business problems and innovative technical solutions. Manage and participate in enterprise solution implementations, including all project phases such as discovery, definition, build, test and deployment. Team with various EY groups to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring client's vision and strategy to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with clients and prospects to drive decisions around their finance requirements and define the solution architecture that translates these requirements into effective, workable solutions
• Guide technical decisions to ensure they align with business outcomes, offering recommendations that propel the business forward
• Focus on the effective management and delivery of technology solutions, ensuring quality and risk management
• Collaborate with team members in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain market
• Provide broad technical and functional knowledge of various modules within Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Conduct application and tool analysis, and apply knowledge in cloud computing architecture and cybersecurity and privacy architecture
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovative solutions
• Function as an integral part of the delivery team to ensure the solutions built for our clients meet their needs to help drive their success through various methods such as solution blueprints
• Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds
• Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress
• Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge
• Maintain long-term client relationships and networks
• Cultivate business development opportunities

Work Schedule

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Requires domestic travel up to 50% to serve client needs

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience; OR Master's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience
• 4 years of experience in solution architecture and/or ERP software solutions
• 4 years of project experience in one of the following platforms: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain
• 2 full lifecycle implementations of Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain
• 2 years of experience in Application and Tool Analysis, Cloud Computing Architecture, and Cybersecurity and Privacy Architecture
• 2 years of experience in Data Architecture Design and Modelling, and Design Methodologies & Tools
• 4 years of experience with emerging technologies, IT standards and governance, and platform architecture
• 2 years of experience in solution architecture design and technical feasibility analysis
• 4 years of experience in defining, analyzing, and mapping technology business requirements, including technology cost-benefit analysis
• 3 years of experience in translating business requirements into IT solutions, including gathering business and technical requirements, solution design and build, testing, and solution deployment
• 2 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: supervising onshore and/or offshore delivery teams

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $220,570.00 per year
