- Solution Architecture & Design
- Own the overall D365 F&SCM application architecture and integrations for piONE, ensuring alignment with Piab’s target landscape and global template.
- Lead functional and conceptual functional solution design across Finance, Sales & Marketing, Procurement & Sourcing, WMS, and integration domains.
- Ensure solutions follow Piab’s solution review principles (CCB / solution review board), including preparation of solution overviews and participation in review/approval forums.
- Balance standard D365 capabilities with required enhancements; drive “fit to standard” and minimize unnecessary customizations while still meeting must‑have requirements from the Requirement Traceability Matrix.
- Requirements & Global Template
- Work closely with stream leads and process owners to interpret and challenge requirements documented inFRDs/FDDs(Finance, Sales, Procurement, WMS, Integrations) and in the Requirement Traceability Matrix.
- Ensure that all “must‑have” ERP requirements (e.g., vendor payments, customer collections, budgeting, cash flow, document handling) are feasibly and consistently designed into the solution.
- Support the evolution of Piab’sGlobal Template and ensure new solutions can be rolled out and reused across legal entities and regions.
- Change & Solution Management
- Participate in and support the ERP Change Control Board (CCB) process, contributing to impact assessments, risk evaluation, and architectural recommendations for Requests for Change.
- Classify and guide changes (standard, normal, emergency) and secure architectural integrity from initial RFC through design, build, test, and deployment.
- Ensure solution documentation (FDDs,integration FDDs, design overviews) is complete, consistent, and maintained over time.
- Cross‑Functional& Integration Leadership
- Collaborate with integration architects and technical teams on data flows between D365 and surrounding systems (e.g., Jeeves, PLM, label systems,Lasernet, banking, reporting).
- Provide architectural guidance on solution patterns such as label integration APIs, intercompany item replication, bundle item configuration, and document receiver handling.
- Ensure consistency of master data design (e.g., released item master, engineering items, price lists,customer and vendor structures) across solutions.
- Quality, Testing & Deployment
- Support creation of test strategies and scenarios to validate end‑to‑end solutions (integration tests, CRP, UAT, regression) against documented FRDs/FDDs.
- Review defects and incidents from a solution perspective,identifying root causes and driving sustainable architectural fixes rather than point solutions.
- Provide guidance during cut over, data migration, and deployment activities to ensure stable go‑lives and smooth handover to operations.
- Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Act as a key partner and advisor to Piab’s Enterprise Architect, Program Manager,Functional leads, and workstream leads.
- Lead and facilitate solution workshops and design discussions with business stakeholders and implementation partners.
- Change Management, Adoption & Support Transition
- AI in Dynamics 365 / Power Platform
- Assess opportunities to apply AI within D365 and related Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Copilot in D365, AI Builder, Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Design functional use cases and user stories for AI features such as:
- Predictive demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and cash flow forecasting.
- Intelligent invoice processing, document understanding, and OCR.
- Recommendation engines (e.g., products, vendors, actions) and anomaly detection.
- Copilot-based assistance for end users (e.g., natural language queries, guided processes).
- Collaborate with data and technical teams to define data sources, data quality requirements, and model inputs/outputs for AI scenarios.
- Validate AI outputs with business users, gather feedback, and support iterative improvements of AI models and prompts.
- Poses relevant bachelor’s or master’s Degree.
- 10+years of leading Dynamics F&O ERP Implementation
- Required Skills & Experience
- Several years of hands‑on experience as ERP Solution Architect or senior ERP Consultant, with primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (or AX 2012 with D365 migration experience).
- Proven track record of leading solution design for multi‑country, multi‑legal‑entity ERP implementations in an industrial / manufacturing / distribution context.
- Demonstrated experience working with formal requirement and solution documentation (FRD/FDD), including sign‑off processes with business and partner stakeholders.
- Strong cross‑functional understanding in at least two of: Finance (GL, AP, AR, cash management, budgeting), Sales & Marketing, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory & WMS, or manufacturing.
- Experience with integrations in a hybrid application landscape (PLM, legacy ERPs, label/print, banking, reporting tools, etc.).
- Experience working in international environment sand assignments are necessary.Have experience working with Europe, US, Asia implementations (Global implementation)
- Experience working with tools likeJira/HP ALM/ServiceNow,SharePoint is required.
- Relevant Microsoft or PMP/Prince 2 certifications in project management or Dynamics 365/Power BI.
- Experience working in leading requirement,solution workshops.
- Demonstrate solid ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Experience working agile and waterfall methodology.Thorough understanding of change, release, deploy, testing,training and IT service methodologies.
- Able to understand business needs and translate business needs into tangible solutions.
- Willingness to travel.
- Experience from B2B organization is an advantage.
- Be result driven and has analytical skills.
- Experience working with MS word, Power points,Excel and project related tools.
- Ability to multi-task and manage various task elements simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate in a concise and professional manner.
- It is required that person is a good team player, social.
