About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance department. The Senior Financial Analyst will support the calculation, analysis, and recognition of various revenue streams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with contractual agreements. You will play a key role in interpreting legal agreements, creating and maintaining revenue models, and collaborating cross-functionally to support financial reporting and business decision-making. You will also contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including supporting the transition from legacy systems to new financial platforms, helping ensure data integrity, process consistency and successful adoption.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of detailed revenue models based on legal agreements
- Perform and validate revenue calculations to ensure accuracy and alignment with contractual terms
- Review and interpret legal agreements to understand key revenue structures, milestones and definitions
- Ensure revenue recognition complies with IFRS 15 and internal accounting policies
- Collaborate with Commercial, Residential Operations, Financial Reporting, Tax, Legal and FP&A teams to gather and validate data required for revenue recognition
- Partner with Accounts Receivable for revenue recognition and invoicing, and resolve inquiries related to fee calculations, invoicing or other revenue issues
- Contribute to revenue forecasting and budgeting processes by providing accurate and reliable data and analysis and ensuring all information is gathered from the relevant revenue-generating departments
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports and dashboards, including variance analysis and performance insights
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including enhancement to tools, templates and processes
- Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing documentation and analysis
- Contribute to special projects and additional revenue-related initiatives as needed
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including:
- Assisting with migration from legacy systems to new financial systems (D365, OneStream)
- Validating data accuracy and completeness during system transition
- Contributing to the documentation and enhancement of new processes and workflows
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Mathematics or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting or analytical roles
- CPA designation (or actively pursuing) preferred
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Power Query or Power BI skills with strong financial modeling capability
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, with exposure to IFRS 15 and finance knowledge
- Good working knowledge and understanding of internal control processes and procedures to ensure compliance
- Experience with ERP and EPM systems (e.g. Dynamics 365, OneStream) is an asset

Compensation and Working Arrangement
Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 CAD
Location: This role follows a hybrid working model which requires three days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, ON
