Position Summary: The Senior Care Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth through selling CE Solutions services by building and managing relationships with a wide variety of clients. You will focus on developing strong relationships with customers, defining their needs, and creating a partnership to recommend and sell solutions that best satisfy those needs. In addition, the Senior Care Account Executive provides sales quotations and responds to requests for proposals.

Reporting to: SVP of Business Solutions

Working Location: Onsite or remote with frequent travel required

Working Hours Classification: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm+

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Establish new customers and relationships while retaining and building current membership.
  • Understands customer’s business, needs, and challenges through excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  • Strengthen current and develop new VGM partner company relationships.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct VGM Services demonstrations and presentations tailored to HME industry.
  • Recommend and suggest suitable products or services that positively impact member business goals.

Solution Selling

  • Understand client challenges and position products/services as solutions that improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, or compliance.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Help to maintain departmental databases and spreadsheets for tracking purposes, including accruing status and resourcing information and monthly reports.
  • Coordinate ongoing education on current issues relevant to members (i.e. webinars, presentations, web-based courses).
  • Manage an email ListServ to allow for peer-to-peer networking.
  • Answer phone and email inquiries timely and accurately.
  • Coordinate travel for field visits.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed about healthcare industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide insights to internal teams to help shape product development and positioning.
  • Author timely communications (i.e. eNewsletter) to keep members informed of the latest industry news, events and initiatives.

Key Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years sales experience
  • Multi-year experience in the healthcare profession, preferably HME

Skills & Competencies

  • Sound interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required for the purpose of developing and delivering presentations as well as creating, composing and editing written materials
  • Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, rapport, and respect for customers.
  • Sound interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning
  • Expertise with technology (Dynamics 365, PowerPoint, Excel, web-based software applications, etc.)

Compensation Overview: The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
