Key User Planning

Alfa Laval in Pune is looking for a Key User Planning to deliver insights on existing processes in Planning / Master planning function of the Factory / Function and bridge knowledge gap towards end-users.

About the Role

Planning Key Users will become the factory's experts in D365 for Planning / master planning function.

Before Go Live

  • Understand the track processes and may cover several tracks
  • Ensure that local processes fit the global processes
  • Be hands-on in the site roll-out
  • Define and test business scenarios in their track(s)
  • Support and train local users in D365

Data Migration

  • Drive the local data cleansing in the legacy system (Movex)
  • Ensure all items in scope are marked and categorized in the legacy system
  • Extract data in scope from the legacy system
  • Ensure coherence in the data extracts

After Go Live

  • Coordinate track activities across sites
  • Govern and implement new processes after deployment
  • Serve as super-user / point of contact for the processes after the site has gone live

As a Local Process Owner

  • Interface group to the Local Steering Committee
  • Own the business / delivery process scenarios for the track and responsible for the business scenario scope
  • Responsible for testing that the solution is acceptable
  • Ensure local processes fit OneERP Standard and local legal requirements
  • Ensure that locally owned gaps are closed
  • Support end users in the change management
  • Responsible for the process / function benefit realisation post roll-out

Required Skills

Domain Knowledge

  • Have a deep understanding of the business processes and best practice in the specific functional area

Communication & Collaboration Skills

  • Be able to train and guide others and bridge gaps between D365 experts and end-users

Leadership & Influence

  • Advocate for D365 within their teams and influence colleagues positively
  • Analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose solutions

Technical Proficiency

  • Become proficient in using D365
  • Will be the first support level and need to be fairly IT proficient

Continuous Learning

  • Role continues after go-live, thus a desire to continuous improvement the solution locally is needed

Attention to Detail

  • Key users will configure system settings, define security roles and test functionality

Program Management

  • Exposure to small / medium / large scale program implementation is preferred

Problem-Solving

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions

Change Management

  • Experience and understanding of how to drive and manage organizational change related to IT transformation, with a focus on minimizing resistance and maximizing adoption

Required Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Material Planning / master planning functions, inventory management, processes, methodologies and tools with 5+ years of experience
  • Digitally proficient - Comfortable working with IT systems and tools
  • A confident communicator who can train local staff effectively
  • Stakeholder Management & Project Coordination
  • Knowledge of ALPS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Awareness or exposure to D365 or any other ERP implementation will be preferred
